Tune-In: Exonerees and Tony Goldwyn Featured on Katie Couric

On Wednesday afternoon the full episode of the

Katie

Couric show will be devoted to the wrongfully convicted and will feature “Scandal” star and

Innocence Project Artists’ Committee

Chair Tony Goldwyn.

 

In addition, exonerees

Marvin Anderson

and

Barry Gibbs

will speak about their experiences of wrongful imprisonment. Anderson served 15 years for a rape he did not commit before DNA evidence proved his innocence. His mother joins him on the show to discuss her steadfast belief in her son’s innocence. Gibbs served 17 years for a murder he did not commit before the “mafia cop” on his case was exposed for framing him.
