12.16.10

The U.S. Senate is expected to vote during the next few days on the omnibus funding bill for 2011, and it now includes both funding and authorization for the National Criminal Justice Commission.

If passed as part of the omnibus funding bill for fiscal year 2011, the National Criminal Justice Commission would be able to start work in early 2011 on a comprehensive evaluation of our criminal justice system and possible reforms. Innocence Project supporters have raised their voices in recent months to help get this measure to the finish line, and we’re almost there. Please make one more call today – your voice could make the difference.

Thanks for taking action.
