Absolutely. The security and confidentiality of your information is our highest priority. We use industry-standard SSL (secure socket layer) technology to protect your information and provide a safe and secure environment for online donations. We will not sell, trade or share your personal information with anyone else, nor will we send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations.
There are many ways to contribute to our work. In addition to making a one-time or recurring contribution online, you can mail a check, make a wire transfer, donate stock or cryptocurrency, or leave a legacy by including the Innocence Project in your estate plans.
You can also find out if your employer matches your charitable gifts, give directly through your IRA (if you’re age 70.5 or older), or even start your own fundraiser. For a complete list of options, visit innocenceproject.org/give.
Donors giving online: A donation receipt will be sent to you at the email address you provide on the donation form. If you select a recurring donation, you will be sent an individual receipt each month when your donation is processed.
Donors giving via mail or other methods: A donation receipt will be emailed or mailed to you as long as an address has been provided.
Please be sure to keep a copy of your receipt for tax purposes.
