Why I Give: Raymond Taylor

“I’ve always been interested in criminal justice, but the thing that first caught my attention about the Innocence Project was their focus on correcting miscarriages of justice and offering a second chance to those whose lives have been devastated by a wrongful conviction.
It is also inspiring to read about the innocence Project’s work to enact wrongful conviction compensation reform. The opportunity to rebuild your life is just as important as the opportunity to prove your innocence. I would encourage anyone interested in criminal justice to read the Innocence Project’s newsletters and consider a donation to help the project continue in the fight for justice and reform.”

You guys are the best. It’s unfathomable to me that someone can be convicted of murder when they didn’t do it. But when it inevitably does happen, it’s good to know you guys are out there righting wrongs. Keep up the great work
