The Innocence Project held the second annual Amazing Race on Monday, June 6. Clinic students from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law participated in the race for a team building challenge before embarking on year-long case work.

The students were divided into six groups and had to find 11 clues across New York City.

“We want to give our students a chance to get to know each other, ” said Karen Thompson, Staff Attorney at the Innocence Project. “At the same time, exploring some of the basic principles for why there’re wrongful convictions and learning the work that we do in a really fun, interactive way.”
