U.S. Supreme Court stays Georgia execution

Just hours before Troy Davis was scheduled to be executed in Georgia for a crime he has always said he didn’t commit, the U.S. Supreme Court issued a stay this evening, delaying the execution so an appeal challenging Davis’ conviction can move forward.
