Elena Orlando joined the Innocence Project as a Case Analyst in June 2024. Prior to joining the team, they worked as a Community Education Coordinator at Collective Justice, a restorative justice organization. Elena co-wrote the curriculum for healing circles offered inside prisons across Washington State and developed a political education and skill-sharing training series for survivors of interpersonal and state violence. Elena locates their commitment to this work in the pursuit of a world that holds all lives as sacred and connected. Elena earned her B.A. in Law, Societies & Justice from the University of Washington.
