Team Innocence Project will be running the ING New York City Marathon on Sunday, raising awareness about wrongful convictions and fundraising to help free the innocent. The team has already raised more than $25,000.
If you’re in town and plan to watch the race, look for the red balloons and meet up with Innocence Project staffers and other supporters in Brooklyn at Mile 7 (4th Avenue and Sackett Street) starting at 10:30 a.m. until all team members pass, and in Manhattan at Mile 22 (5th Avenue and 111th Street) starting at 12:45 p.m. until all team members pass.
If you’re watching somewhere else along the course, look for our runners in red jerseys!
