Send Robert Roberson a Note of Hope
Send Messages of Hope to Robert, a Father Wrongfully Convicted on Death Row.
Robert Roberson, who sits on death row in Texas, was nearly executed on Oct. 17 for a crime that experts say never happened — the tragic passing of his 2-year-old daughter, Nikki. Initially believed to be the result of now-debunked shaken baby syndrome, Nikki’s death was actually due to existing medical conditions after a minor fall from her bed. Despite new scientific evidence proving Nikki died of pneumonia, not abuse or homicide,, Mr. Roberson’s appeals were denied by every court. However, in a last-ditch effort to save his life, a courageous bipartisan group of Texas lawmakers subpoenaed Mr. Roberson to testify at a hearing, and the Texas Supreme Court upheld a temporary stay.
Mr. Roberson, a devoted father with autism, has endured the heartbreak of losing his daughter and now faces the ongoing struggle to avoid execution and clear his name. Help lift his spirits by sending him messages of hope and letting him know we’ll keep fighting for his freedom.
