Texas Gov. Rick Perry confirmed today that he will meet with the family of Timothy Cole, who died in a Texas prison in 1999 while serving a 25-year sentence for a rape he didn’t commit. DNA testing conducted after Cole’s death proved that another man committed the rape for which he was imprisoned.
