Live Discussion of New York Reforms

Today at 4pm EST, Innocence Project Policy Director Stephen Saloom will be a guest on WBAI radio in New York to discuss reforms currently under consideration by New York State lawmakers to help free innocent people and prevent wrongful convictions. Saloom will be on the air until 4:30, taking calls from listeners.

On Monday, the Innocence Project released a report on the 24 wrongful convictions overturned by DNA testing in New York State. While New York is third in the nation in DNA exonerations, it lags far behind other states in enacting reforms proven to prevent wrongful convictions.
