Appalachian State University hosts series on wrongful convictions
A string of films, discussions and performances on wrongful convictions began this week at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. The series will include panel discussions, lectures and screenings of the films “
The Thin Blue Line
The Trials of Darryl Hunt
” and “
.” Exoneree Darryl Hunt will speak on Tuesday, Feb. 19, after the screening of the award-winning documentary about his case.
The university’s theater department will present the play “The Exonerated,” from March 4 to 8.
