New York Exoneree speaks tonight in Westchester County

Jeffrey Deskovic, who was wrongfully convicted at age 17 of killing a high school classmate and served 15 years before DNA proved his innocence, will speak tonight at Mercy College, in Dobbs Ferry, New York. Deskovic recently completed his undergraduate degree at Mercy, and is applying to law schools. He will discuss his case and criminal justice reforms proven to prevent future wrongful convictions. The event is free and open to the public;
