Larry King Live: “Conviction” and Innocence

CNN’s “Larry King Live” devoted a full hour last night to the a discussion of wrongful conviction and the making of the film “Conviction,” which tells the true story of Betty Anne Waters’ fight to overturn her brother’s wrongful conviction. Asked about the opportunity to play Betty Anne Waters, Hilary Swank said: “It was a great, incredible honor to portray this woman who is my real-life hero.”

King’s guests included Swank, Waters, actor Sam Rockwell, director Tony Goldwyn, Innocence Project Co-Director Barry Scheck and several people exonerated after serving years in prison for crimes they didn’t commit. Watch two clips from the show below:
