U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation is holding a hearing today titled, “From the Lab Bench to the Courtroom: Advancing the Science and Standards of Forensics.” The hearing will feature Michael Bromwich, the former Inspector General of the Department of Justice who led the investigation into widespread problems at the Houston Police Department Crime Lab.
