On Wednesday at 3 p.m. ET you’ll have an opportunity to chat with Innocence Project Staff Attorney Karen Thompson who litigates post-conviction DNA cases throughout the country. Karen also supervises students through the Innocence Project clinic at Cardozo Law School. Her clients include Lewis Fogle who was exonerated of murder in Pennsylvania after over 30 years in prison and Sedrick Courtney who was wrongly convicted of burglary in Oklahoma. Most recently, Karen, along with staff attorney Bryce Benjet, represented Stacey Johnson, who was issued a stay of execution by the Arkansas Supreme Court and granted the right to a full evidentiary hearing on his request for DNA testing to prove his innocence.
