Julia Kingston graduated from Princeton University with a bachelor’s degree in history in May 2025, where she began her work in wrongful conviction advocacy through Making an Exoneree, a course that reinvestigates wrongful convictions and produces documentaries amplifying incarcerated clients’ innocence claims. Before joining the Innocence Project, Julia worked as a paralegal at Gibson, Dunn and Crutcher, where her pro bono work focused on capital post-conviction litigation and reproductive rights advocacy.
