Jimmy Ray Bromgard celebrates five years of freedom

After serving nearly 15 years for a crime he did not commit,

Jimmy Ray Bromgard

was exonerated on October 1, 2002 after DNA testing proved his innocence. Bromgard was convicted of rape and sentenced to three 40-year terms. Today marks the fifth anniversary of his exoneration.
