Marchers Continue to Make Strides for Justice

Earlier this week when the Innocence Blog wrote about the Justice 4 the Wrongfully Incarcerated march, the walkers had made their way from Harlem to Peekskill, New York. As of yesterday, the walkers were still strong and in Poughkipsee, New York. They’ve documented their journey on social media. Check out highlights from their trip this week.

The group has been welcomed along the way by activists and other supporters. Earlier this week they were part of a rally in Forsyth Park:

Marchers are planned to arrive in Albany, New York, on Sunday evening. Upon their arrival, they’ll participate with other advocacy groups to call for a New York state commission on prosecutorial misconduct.  Timothy Slowinski of Hudson, New York, made these signs for the rally:
