On March 10, 2016, a Brooklyn judge reversed the murder conviction of Andre Hatchett. With the legal defense of the Innocence Project and Jim Brochin a partner at Paul Weiss, and help from Brooklyn’s Conviction Integrity Unit, Andre was proven innocent of the ’91 murder. I have a friend who is facing the same crap. No DNA, no fingerprints, no witnesses, no line up. And a detective in NYC who has had charges bought up against him for fraudulent arrests. An attorney who was court appointed and never asked the victim when on the stand if he saw anyone of the attcakers in the court room. The attorney told my friend that he would not ask that question, he could ask it himself.
They convicted him with nothing 25 to life , they will try for 16 to life.

They only thing he is guilty of is waving his right to a trial by Jury because he trusted the system with nothing that proves he is guilty no Judge would convict him… Surprise,
Dirty detective, an attorney who didn’t do right from day one, the assistant DA who was unaware of details to the crime and a judge who convicted him with no evidence…

I need to know how to get intouch with the innocents program in texas,my son in law was wrongly convicted of a crime that he did not commit,its all of a case of a women scorned and he was scared and took the plea they gave him because the judge he went infront of sent his older brother to prison 17 years before who has recently got out and the same judge that he went in front of when he was 18 that told him that if he ever came in front of him again that he would make sure he done a lot of time….that’s when he was 18 and he is 35 now.my daughter paid this lawyer that they had 12,000.00 and the lawyer did nothing,he had so much eveidence that this was all about revenge where the other women was concern,also have witness that knows the women scorned had hired someone to kill my son in law but fell through and lawyer didn’t do anything about it.so please tell me who I need to talk too?the judge in question has been investigated several time but somehow it always just get pushed under the rug…..my daughter has no money now to hire another lawyer so what should she do?
