The upcoming film “Conviction,” tells the story of Betty Anne Waters’ two-decade struggle to free her brother Kenneth after he was convicted in Massachusetts of a murder he didn’t commit. And even though the American Criminal Justice system is based on English Common Law, we still feel there’s a statute of limitations on specified crimes unfortunately, even against those who are to uphold the law.
I watched “Conviction” this morning. It is quite moving!! Our “Justice System” needs desperately to be fixed (including the Child Welfare Division!!
