Marin Ireland

Actress

Marin Ireland is an American actress acclaimed for her work in theatre and independent films, with nominations for both an Independent Spirit Award and a Tony Award. She starred in The Divide, a television series inspired by the work of a Philadelphia law student and caseworker who advocated for wrongly convicted people. She and her co-star Paul Schneider consulted closely with the Innocence Project for the series. In 2014, she was honored by the Innocence Project for her work in bringing attention to wrongful convictions.

“I had some real immersion into the day-to-day of litigating on behalf of people wrongfully convicted. It is why I support the Innocence Project’s work to transform the criminal legal system.”
